Effect of Mixed Mineral-Enriched Essential Oils Supplementation on Milk Production and Feed Efficiency of Lactating Dairy Cows

This study aimed to determine milk production and efficiency of feed utilization a mixed mineral-enriched essential oils supplementation lactating dairy cows. Forty-eight Holstein-Friesian cows with 3.45±0.58 body condition score 187.08±21.53 days in were randomly allocated two dietary treatments for 46 days. Treatments consisted no (CON) or (AGB) 0.5% Agromix Booster® the Total Mix Ration (TMR). All given same TMR twice day (the only difference was presence absence Booster®). Daily monitoring production, composition, dry matter intake calculated determined. Compared CON, fed AGB showed an increase yield (P<0.05). However, significant effects detected on fat content yield, protein lactose solid non-fat content, total solids (P>0.05).
